Restock Limits

Caps Amazon places on how much inventory you may send in, based on your sales velocity and storage performance.

Why it matters

Restock limits are the practical constraint on scaling an FBA business. They are driven largely by IPI score and historical sell-through, and they tighten hardest in Q4, exactly when brands most want to send stock in.

In practice

Managing them means keeping IPI healthy, clearing aged inventory before it counts against you, and holding buffer stock at a 3PL so you can top up FBA the moment capacity frees rather than waiting on a container.
