Listing Hijacking
A third party attaching an offer to your ASIN without authorization, often with counterfeit or diverted stock.
Why it matters
Because Amazon listings are shared per ASIN, anyone can add an offer to a page you built. Hijackers typically undercut price to take the Buy Box, then ship product you have no control over, so the returns and one-star reviews land on your listing.
In practice
Response order: document the offer with screenshots, test-buy to establish what is actually being shipped, report through Brand Registry if there is an IP violation, and close the supply route. Transparency enrollment is the durable fix, because it makes listing your product without valid codes impossible.
